Cracker Candy

1 package graham crackers or soda crackers
1 cup (250 mL) brown sugar
1 cup (250 mL) butter or margerine
1 1/2 cup (375 mL) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Grease cookie sheet or jelly roll pan well and line crackers up side by side to cover entire sheet with no spaces in between. In medium saucepan bring to boil brown sugar and butter and boil 5 minutes. Spread over crackers and place under oven broiler for approximately 10 minutes (until it bubbles). Top with chocolate chips and spread chocolate as it melts to cover entire sheet. Put in freezer for 1 hour then break apart into small or large pieces. Freezing: Excellent.
