Hawiian Meatballs
Meatballs:
1 lb lean ground beef
2/3 cup cracker crumbs
1/3 cup minced onion or 1 tsp. onion powder
1 egg
11/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 cup milk
Sauce:
2 tbsp. corn starch
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 13 0z.can pineapple chunks with syurup
1/3 cup vinegar
1 tbsp. soya sauce
Mix all ingredients well and make meatballs.
Place in a pan and bake at 350 F. for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven drain fat.
Sauce:
Mix cornstarch and brown sugar well in a medium size pot.
Add pineapple and syrup, vinegar and soya sauce and stir.
Heat until boiling, stirring constantly, lower heat and continue boiling one minute.
Pour sauce over meatballs and return to oven for 30 more minutes
